Duncan MacFadyen

-Manager: Research & Conservation for E Oppenheimer & Son ; De Beers Biodiversity and Environmental peer group committee member. 

Duncan is a great naturalist and nature lover and is especially passionate about insects. In recognition of his contribution to research in this field, two species of jewel beetles were named after him.

Duncan is currently busy with a PhD on small mammals of the Bankenveld. He will head the team on our new project on the Diamond Route.

- Philip manages the development of Welgevonden - a wildlife reserve and estate in the Klein Karoo.
